Welcome to Stratford Northwestern Public School

On behalf of the staff at Stratford Northwestern Public School, I’d like to welcome you to our school website.  Partnered with and housed within Stratford Northwestern Secondary School (SNSS), Northwestern Elementary (SNPS) has a population of approximately 210 Grade 7 & 8 students.  We are fortunate to have our students in the SNSS setting as we have access to a broad range of specialized services and facilities.

We have a dedicated and professional staff committed to fostering academic, emotional and social growth in our students.  We do this by providing a range of learning opportunities, school trips, and extracurricular activities, which include various clubs, teams and committees.  We would encourage your child to become actively involved in these opportunities.

Learning is a responsibility shared by the school, students, home, and the broader community.  Our focus this year will be student academic achievement, encouraging students to take advantage of the many extracurricular opportunities offered and the continued development of the character attributes espoused by the Avon Maitland District School Board.
